What Mulebuy offered before it went quiet, and where a print shows up in an agent’s photos

What Mulebuy offered while it ran, what its archived pages said about the photos that matter for a lettered piece, and how to order the same find today now that its site no longer loads.

Mulebuy’s standard photo angles and where a print shows up

Mulebuy was a shopping agent: a service that buys for you from Chinese marketplaces, holds the goods in a Guangdong warehouse and posts them abroad. Like most agents it photographed each item on arrival.

The fee page, in its archived copy from August 2026, named the free standard photos by angle rather than by subject: a view of the front, one of the back, one aimed at a side or the logo, and some detail shots. For a printed piece that wording matters. A chest print shows up in the front view and a back print in the back view; a sleeve column may or may not be caught by the side view, and nothing promised that a detail shot would be aimed at the lettering.

That is true of most agents’ standard sets, not just Mulebuy’s. The fix is the same anywhere: ask for a close-up of the text block as an extra photo.

Reading the QC photos of a lettered piece then takes four looks: every character against the listing, the orientation (nothing mirrored, nothing on its side unless meant), the position on the garment, and whether the whole phrase is there or a fold has swallowed part of it.

What the warehouse check covered, and what it left to you

Its quality-check page, as archived in August 2026, listed what inspectors looked at: the outside of the item (color, large damage, stains, scratches, deformation), whether it was complete, and whether size, model and quantity matched. Nothing on that list concerned what a print says. Reading the lettering was always the buyer’s job.

On cost, there was no shopping-agent service fee at Mulebuy in summer 2026, though fixed charges were added to each parcel.

Its returns page from the same month excluded custom-made products, those made to a customer’s own design, from returns. A lettered piece bought off the shelf was not custom-made; a piece printed with your own words would have been, which is one more reason to check the photo before it ships.

How it worked then, and how to use this catalog now

In summer 2026 a typical order ran like this: paste a link from a Chinese marketplace into Mulebuy, pay, wait for the item to reach the warehouse, look over the photos, then pay for the international leg.

An old Mulebuy link still points at a listing on the original marketplace, a listing that never belonged to Mulebuy, so another agent can usually buy the same item while the seller still has it.

Using this site today works the same way minus Mulebuy: find the piece in the catalog, read the print here, then hand the listing to an agent that is running. The comparison on the home page has four, with dates.

What we can say about notices, orders and the community

Its official notice feed, in the archived copy, ran from mid-May 2026 to a notice dated July 31, 2026, about the effects of a natural disaster on deliveries. The available copy contains no later entry; it does not establish what was communicated elsewhere or afterward. Since the autumn the site has simply not answered. People in its user community have said since August that the warehouse closed; we have not verified an official confirmation of that claim.

We cannot tell you whether anyone still answers questions about orders, parcels or account balances, and we will not guess. Questions about one particular payment are best put to whoever issued the card or ran the payment, since they know the rules that cover it.

The earlier public invite/app descriptions recorded here establish that a page was reachable at that date. They do not establish current service, support responsiveness or the contents of private Discord/Telegram discussions. This review did not join or read those private channels.

When to use a different agent for a printed piece

In summer 2026 Mulebuy offered what most agents offer: purchase, warehouse photos, storage and shipping, with no service fee on the purchase itself. Our access check cannot establish whether a new order can be fulfilled; verify a working service before paying.

So the question is no longer whether to use another agent, but which detail to compare. For lettered clothing it is the photo policy: how many standard shots you get, whether you can ask for a close-up of the print, and whether the price of that close-up is published. Language of the agent’s site matters if English is not your first language.

The home page compares four running agents on exactly those points, each fact dated. Picking a piece covers the rest of the decision.

Two public posts, two different evidential limits

These original Reddit posts were read through publicly indexed text on 22 October 2026. We have not verified the orders, identities, photographs or payment records. The links may require access that the search excerpt does not. A successful old order and an unresolved recent complaint cannot establish a current delivery rate.

What to do with this evidence

Save the whole phrase and its position on the selected colour. Ask for a straight-on, unfolded view and a close-up where every stroke is visible; compare the print rather than a watermark or caption. A mirrored seller mock-up needs clarification, not automatic reversal of the actual design. Glyph match is a visual reference, not recognition software. Custom printing can have different return exclusions, so resolve wording before authorising production.

Current access check: home and fee-page requests timed out on 22 October 2026. The cause, operating capacity and individual order outcomes remain unverified. The archived notice feed ends on 31 July 2026; that is the end of the available copy, not proof that no later communication exists. We have no verified private-channel comments to add.
